Please ID these speakers

Can someone ID these? They are in a estate sale local. Any good?

There were many speakers built with that same motif - slotted/mesh wood grills, pleated cloth backing in walnut cabinets. All seem to have been modeled after the 60s vintage consoles and speaker cabinets that catered to stereo's growth age back then.

By the 70s, however, there were many, many knockoffs from folks like Sansui and Pioneer that came back with the GIs from overseas duty. I saw many come in for repair after parties back then, too. I don't recognize the logo on the speakers in the pic. Try to get a pic of the speaker connection label on the back for more detail.

Could be AKAI as well.

Too many manufacturers has speakers that looked like this.

That's a Sansui badge.. going by the size and grill, they look to be a pair of SP-100's.. not a bad speaker but not a great speaker.. I'd take them over a similar sized Pioneer.

BTW, I have a pair of SP-100's... I kept them over a pair of Pioneer CS-77a's

Thanks guys...that last set looks to be the one. I will try and get by there tomorrow and see what the owner used to drive them with. These look to be very clean if someone needs them let me know.

One of my first speakers. Has a nice little Coral horn-loaded mylar dome tweeter. Not bad at all. Very nicely-built cabinets.
