Please help me id this driver. I have searched but can not find much about them. Any help is appreciated.

Perhaps Long Engineering was the Mfg. might have been used in the MCS (JC Penny) type speaker or possible Mackintosh mid.

AR dome mids were all sealed cans. But whoever designed this one definitely drew inspiration from them.

Long Engineering Inc of Waveland, IN operated from 1974-1989. This driver was made in May of 1981.
 
I thought they had an AR-ish look as well, or maybe later KLH? Not sure. They look halfway-decent, but I'm drawing a blank. Maybe a Japanese take on a classic east coast driver.
