PNW Gathering 2009

I put this off to the last minute hoping I could swing coming
But Sadly I wont be able to make the trip today.
A great time goes out to all and I look forward to some Pic's
Mark

Same here, had to make the call. Family comes first, but I'm sorry to miss out seeing the funky, obscure, strange, clownish ....uhhh .... gear.

Looking forward to some pictures, thanks to Tarior for hosting, have a great time!

Yep, The 19's & 604's amazed me.....that is for sure. Had great time. I didn't take pics, but many did & sure they will post. My 1st & will do it every chance that comes around. A great time. We thru my little DIY 1.5w 45 on the 19's & 604's just for kicks.....*s* I got to hear my 1st e-wave project also..very nice & well done XO. Sounded very good in the larger room we were in.

The PNW Gathering was a success

Tarior,

I had a great time today! Thanks for organizing and sponsoring this event.

Well, it was nice to put some faces to a few names. It was all very interesting! My brother thought so too, and by coming along, at least I had someone to talk to for the long drive.

I sure hope kfa888 was able to make it, and collect his Volkswoofer. I wasn't able to stick around. I also hope the guy that gave me $5 for the AR turn table didn't leave it behind.

Here's one picture taken pretty early, about 10:00am.

Here are a couple of pics. Didn't think about taking pictures very often. Had a fun day not including the Sansui 1000a capacitor explosion. Thanks to Tarior for organizing.

The pictures are the mighty Altecs, the linear tracking TT collection, Susurus with his cool Fultons (sorry I only got your back).

Enjoyed meeting the monikers in person, jandg, Susurus, kfa888, Mark W. and others for which I apologize if I forget the names.

John

I will be posting some pictures soon too, I'm the dude in the red pants so I'm easy to spot in the pictures.

It was fun, but there were more sellers than buyers to make it a successful swap meet (except for this one dude who sold out in 30 minutes)

Yep, looks familiar and WOW, look at all that gear, looks like it had all the makings of a GREAT event. Sorry I missed this one. Keep the pictures coming!

:lurk:

Nice pics man. Wish I could have been their, but I had some stuff to do today.

Maybe next year.

I started a new thread for pics, and afterglowing.
Thanks again to everybody who came to the gathering. Hopefully next year we'll see those who didn't make it this time out.

Hope that sub works out Kelly.

I enjoyed meeting those of you I did, and regret having to leave early and missing those I didnt. (barely made it at all and then lunch just.. well.. just say, didnt help. )

Good to meet those of you I did in person.. Tarior, Sir.Byrd (I'll have to ping you about some grills) Susurus, Mark B, Kfa888 et all.

It was good to meet you, Fau5tu5. It was great that your wife came along, she seemed to like the jazz that was playing, and great to talk TT's with you. Now go get that Pioneer going!

I will.. Though now all I can think about is how cool those linear tracking TTs. Thanks for the education. In my opinion it is the sign of a true expert and teacher who can explain something foreign without making the "learner" feel stupid. Though if I find one of those PL1000's you're going to have to share your "secret lube" with me :-)
