I'm looking to recap my polk monitor 7c speakers. I know they are a well-regarded vintage speaker but I'm not 100% loving the sound. I tried getting the replacement tweeters (rd0194-1) but they didn't fit in the original driver opening. After some research I found that if they are all original a recap would help improve sound quality. The problem is that there are so many variations of the Polk Monitors, and I think I've got some especially weird ones, so I would like to get a more knowledgeable person's opinion before I spend the time and money. Would replacing the capacitors help improve the sound? If so, based on the pictures and the speakers themselves, can you recommend which replacement capacitors to get?
