Possible seized pot on SX-1250

I had a seized Balance pot that was fixed with advice from AK and these products.

This is only whats available locally in Aussie and how I apply it. I only used the gold lubricant for the siezed shaft.

If that pot is perfectly smooth to the right of center, but flat-out stops trying to go left of center, it's a republican! Seriously, it sounds like internal failure. I've experienced this on 2 different pieces of gear after grabbing the wrong kind of spray cleaner. Destroyed plastic wiper carrier inside the pots, cost me $25 plus shipping for replacement used dual pot on one. Other not worth fixing. Could be your issue, but not a similar cause. I just ****ed up & shot gun solvent in mine. I've since moved it away from handy reach.
