Just come across this thread and there are some stunning systems, shame that a few of them have photos omitted.

I have three SU-V4X integrated amps here. Can't fault them for their sound. Transparent, clean and powerful enough for my needs.

This thread is suffering the demise of free-hosting services. I can't find what I'm pretty sure I posted years ago so here's a small Kyocera system I picked up quite some time ago and still have:

i've got a few 2 piece stacks so that fits the criteria
knobs for the tuner were soaking at the time of the pic
sansui t60 tuner + a80 amp. close enough i think.
and there's some pioneer blueline in there
every amp was purchased broken and has been repaired. everything's been cleaned and recapped. troublesome transistors replaced.etc. amps adjusted, tuners have been aligned.
everything is still in house and gets rotated in on occasion.
there are worse addictions out there.

I do have a couple of 80's Onkyo matching systems- (1). M-508 amp, P-304 Pre amp, T-9090II tuner (2) M-506RS amp, P-306RS pre amp, T-4087 tuner but I"m currently using only the amps (the old preamps don't have remote control) and my Parasound T-3 and Magnum Dynalab DT-5 tuners are far less finicky and have remote control.

I've only got one matched system left. I had collected a lot of early to mid 70's Marantz seperates. Once I switched to tubes I sold almost all of it off.
All I kept was a set of small form components. A 1060 integrated amp, a model 140 power amp, and a model 112 tuner. I'm using the 1060 as a preamp for the 140 power amp in another small system, and using the 112 tuner and a pair of Marantz Imperial 6 speakers in my main system.

While almost all one brand, I think that all but a turntable and the CD ripper/streamer/NAS device are from the same era. I do know that the PD-121U turntable on top left is 1975-1978 and the Bluesound Vault 2 is 2017.
The turntable top left is a 2011 build Luxman PD-171. The PD-171A version was discontinued in late 2021. The L-509X integrated amp below is from 2018, they were discontinued in late 2023. On the 2nd shelf left is a Luxman EQ-500 tube-based (7 of them!) phono amp that was also discontinued in early 2023 but had at least an 8 year run. Bottom shelf right is a Luxman DA-06 dac, and it was introduced in 2013 but discontinued in (I think) 2020 or 2021. Not sure on that.
Overall all the pieces really do perform as though they were a set produced together.

Crown used to refer to this setup as a "receiver" and even offered it in one wooden case. There was a choice of three amps to go with it. This is the Power Line Three which is the middle range of the three amps offered.
