The others may be higher priced but I doubt the Japanese stuff sounds near as good as the stuff from Dennis Had. What speakers and other equipment are you using?

Why? Because I likes Technics,even their TOTL late 80's gear. See,I'm a bit of a collector... admittedly,perhaps a little krazy with it!

In all fairness, it's a set from the early naughties, which is years gone by. Only the DVD player is newer. It's a DV4300
The CD recorder is a DR6000.

There's some real nice valuable gear in there such as a Sansui BA-5000 power-amp,Linn Sondek LP-12,Zeta tonearm,Koetsu Black,Thorens,vintage SME tonearm/cart,various monster receivers,Sony V-Fet amps etc. I could go on and on... but won't :thmbsp:
Even the AIWA Excelia XK-009 and Sony KA6ES cassette decks at the bottom of the Technics stack go for decent money in the UK. So,don't think I'd have any trouble selling it,not to mention giving it away if I was so inclined

Here is my dining-room setup:
It's from the Dual-International-series; this was Duals attempt to catch up with the japanese competition by rejuvenate the design.
From top to bottom:
Dual 626 TT,
Dual CV1400 amp,
Dual CT1462 tuner.
A matching C809 tape-deck is mothballed, the tower would be too high with it.
