Because in an ultimate sense, it is not possible to perfectly pin down the definite position, momentum, or trajectory any object. And the more precise the measurements, the more likely seemingly random and inconsequential aspects may affect either the object, the measuring instruments, or both - even down to a sub atomic level - making it impossible to truly 'know'. This theory also has the real world effect of not disallowing local gravitational anomalies from guiding whatever answer I might choose to vomit directly onto one's expensive leather shoes.
