Price of gas in your area.

Today´s prices:

Gas (95 octane): $1,89/liter
Diesel: $1,66/liter

Last friday, the diesel was only 1,44/liter!
 
Well, lemme tell ya...

Chicago city prices were hitting $3.50+ several weeks ago, and we were paying $3.25+ out here in the burbs.

Now that it's been dropping steadily, the lowest price in the Naperville area is $2.79 at Costco, and around $2.85 elsewhere.

Gotta love Illinois taxes. :thumbsdn:

don't feel bad toze, in the Land of Lincoln we're getting hosed. $2.54 here when just to my south in St. Louis it's $2.18 :tears:
 
Here in the U.K. a litre of petrol (gasoline) is around £1.00, thats about $1.80.
That is for a litre, NOT a gallon!
I think a litre is about one fifth of a gallon.
 
Huh-I thought prices here were low-usually they track pretty well with the rest of the country, but the lowest I've seen this week was 2.49 with most at 2.59.

I said once I would never pay over $2/gallon. Well, so far I've never paid over $3. Last week I filled up on heating oil at 2.62. Watch it go down now. Got the "Agriblend" but it wasn't any cheaper than the pure Arab stuff.

Commuters. The closer you are to SF, LA, I-5 or 99, the higher the price. Price can vary 40 cents in five blocks around here.
 
$2.499 was the cheapest I saw -- might get a few pennies less, but I didn't feel like driving for it.
$2.699 is probably average for the area. I also saw $2.799, but the station was bereft of customers.
 
ahhhh just to 'relive' the good old days I opened this almost six year old thread.......now I want to cry ! ..........:tears:
 
Saw $4.10 for regular last night. Unbelievable.

I'm planning my regular trip out west to see my mom and my inlaws. I always drive because I enjoy it so much, but when I add up gas, meals, and motels, I can fly for half the cost.
 
£1.50 per litre here ..£6.81 a gallon

works out as ..
$2.35 per litre ...$10.67 a gallon
that's for diesel
petrol is only slightly cheaper ..
 
$3.65-9 per gallon yesterday in Dayton, Maryland. Most stations I saw were more expensive by 10 cents....
