Project One Mark 1500 nudies!

Are you still alive buddy ? I bet you could make some good money if you charged for that manual. Enough people are asking for one lol
I actually took photos of the copy of the manual that I have the other day but I don’t have a working scanner to scan it properly. If you want them drop me an email

Hello Bro4000. I have a 1500 receiver as well. It had a few faulty meters, so I purchased a Hitachi 804 receiver, removed the meter mechanisms from the Hitachi meter casings and installed them in the 1500 casings. It's a little delicate to perform, but it does work! Depending on the how many meters you require, you can find a Hitachi 604 that has 2 meters or the Hitachi 804 had 4 meters. You should be able to find a Hitachi for relatively cheap.
Cheers, Warren

Since it has been reopened, I would like to ask what I did not years ago. These were made by Tandberg? I always thought the consensus was that they were made by Pioneer.
Hi there, I ran across something on Ebay you all might find very interesting... I was looking at a pair of vintage KLH Project/One speakers and I couldn't get past how similar the logo's are... Could it finally be Problem Solved ?https://www.ebay.com/itm/254497383829?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&fromMakeTrack=true

Reviving the thread once again, just picked up another mark1500 after many many years. Serial number 73401. This one had the sticky meter issue which I fixed after a well known technician couldn't fix it. Like most people a little heat and getting rid of that thread locker frees them up nicely. Using a dab of Deoxit x10s light oil helps the pivots from wearing out over time. I'll try to be more active for those having issues with their 1500s.

Hello users, I'm new to the world of monster receivers. Just picked up myself a 1500 and in the past I've owned 5 other pieces of project one equipment. Such as two 800s, mark iib, iic, and now the holy grail Mark 1500. If anyone needs help with the meters i can help. But I'm conducting research on how many were produced throughout the production years of 1980-1983 I believe. If anyone can share their serial number it would be most helpful. So far I have 69,883, 69,946, and 75,294. If anyone has info it would be great. Thanks!
I have found serial number 67052.

Anyone ever find the schematics for this beast? I have need of them now as well.
Nope but am repairing one right now. Owner accidently slipped on the probes while adjusting bias. Waiting on parts right now.

What issue are you going after?
