are thought to have been booked for what reports are calling "one of the biggest concerts in history".

Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney are thought to have been booked for what reports are calling "one of the biggest concerts in history".

Billboard is among multiple sources to report that Goldenvoice Entertainment, the promoters behind Coachella Festival, will hold the festival in Indio, California between October 7-9. It will take place on the same site as Coachella.

As well as the aforementioned artists, The Who, Neil Young and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters have also signed up for the three-day event, according to the reports. The headline acts are expected to be paid $7 million each for their sets.

"It's so special in so many ways," Young's longtime manager Elliot Roberts reportedly told The LA Times. "You won't get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It's a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time."

No more details of the event have been revealed but a full announcement is expected shortly.

Yep,,, but, I saw whats left of the Who here a month ago,,, and they really sounded good... Throw Gilmour and Mason in the mix and I'm in...
Wonder what tix will cost? May need a 2nd mortgage!!!

it's special alright... I hope they have several cardiac stations set up

people need to learn to let go of the past and embrace the now, the future

IMHO of course

I was quoting the article, not my words. (I'm sure you're aware, just read funny)

Anyway, we have no idea what the under card will be. I'm sure plenty of "young blood" will be there. Besides, these old timers can still put on a hell of a show. Roger Waters Wall tour was insanely great.

lol, or the most expensive!
6 performers, 6 million$$$...poor bastard starving artists
Actually in 50 thou. seat arena that would only be $120 per person...only in your wildest dreams.
Add the cost of the venue, road crews, greedy agents, etc. throw in the scalpers and it's more like $1,200 for nose bleeds.

Waters only. No mention of David Gilmour or Nick Mason. Too bad 'cause I'd pay to see that reunion even without the late Rick Wright.

Maybe 40 years ago when they were in their prime, but now it's just boomer nostalgia...

Well if bigger is better, than Biggest is Best, right? well not in my book, I tire quickly of loud drunks and dopers, having to either pay stupid amounts of money for somewhat decent seats, fighting crowds, etc. . Dang I sound cranky, thanks, but no thanks!

Depends? After all you can imagine how long the lines will be at the porta-potties.
Hell, at my age I don't think I could even make it through the line to get in the damn gate. I'd be in trouble before I had a chance to spend $30 for one inside.
