I have one in basement that needs some repair, I dont even know why this hasnt went to dump yet.

I had one in my main system for years. Now it's in the garage system. It's got some interesting features. The transformer is separate and has a long cord on it so you can keep it far from the audio circuitry. it's got a passive mode, where there is only a pot in the signal path. On my setup, it sounded dull in passive mode, but I think it's system and impedance dependent. It was a great preamp for the money when it was current.

You can have it, infact it is a 5.5 or 6 if I recall, the 4.5 I gave away already to a elderly audio guy with a sick wife along with a JVC full auto table that was really cool cause a servo motor controlled the arm placement anywhere across album.

I own a PS Audio 5.6 in my second system. Actually it's a pretty good pre, with some nice features youw wouldn't expect on such a minimalist looking amp. Very nice built, looks like it'll last a lifetime.
