Q Up auto tonearm lifter

Yeah, my Technics SL-Q202 is my workhorse and gets the vast majority of play time at my house. I'll never buy a non-automatic TT again, even if it comes in turquoise (my Teac is turquoise, BTW).

I bought the QUP for my Empire 298 and it works great. It's on sale for 39 bucks at the home site. If you set the lift force correctly it's nice and smooth.

I need one that works on an SL150, any ideas?
It is all about how much real estate you have to install a device. I got no idea about your particular arm and table combo without a good pic of the area where a lifter of whatever brand would be installed.

start a thread about your issue and folks will be able to help.

I have fitted the Rega armboard to the SL150, I saw there was a rubber gasket under the old armboard that had expired so I made a new one out of a Sobothane sheet that I had handy, I also deadened the base with a sheet of Dynamat, so that should stop any resonance, that's all I can do for now until the arm comes back from a rebuild,
I have been looking at the space I would have to fit a Q-up and because I am going to use a Rega arm instead of the Technics one, there may be just enough room to fit it.
