Question for QLS 1 owners?

Regarding a crossover rebuild...

Keep in mind, there are more things than just capacitors that age on speakers. Wire oxidation, connections, dirt and filth, corrosion, etc. Know that BiAmp toggle switch on these? Ever seen one corroded inside? I have. Ever found a solder joint that was just about to let go? Seen lots of those. Ever have a connection that just won't connect, perhaps from an oxide layer? Or the plethora of pots that are so dirty (or damaged) that they are problematic?

The point is, there are lots of things that a "crossover rebuild" includes, not just replacing caps. ALL this stuff should be assessed & addressed.

They deserve a crossover rebuild.
Voicing will not be an issue.
Just do it.

You've heard it on the internet a thousand times, so it must be true. Don't test it, don't measure it, don't do one at a time and see if there's a difference, just BELIEVE!

You can't be sure but I'd lay you better odds than you could get in Vegas that they do.:D:D
