R.I.P. Kegger

Wow, this hurts. He was such an AK legend, and to see this out of nowhere just takes my breath away. Rest In Peace, Kegger. You are greatly missed.

RIP Paul , a funny caring and very helpful person . Got to know him and loved his zest for life . You will be sadly missed my friend

RIP Kegger. Best wishes for your parents' recoveries.

Situations like this make my blood boil. While I have suggestions for how to punish the other driver I'll not post them here.

Keg was the essence of AK. He was a good friend of mine, and a good friend to all who knew him. Such a feeling of loss. I pray for his family and the recovery of his parents. We are all less because he is gone -- but all more because of all that he did......

RIP Keg.

Dave

Oh, no. This is shocking. Awful. Deeply upsetting. Rest in peace.

There are never any words for something like this.

I hope his parents pull through. Thoughts and prayers....

Oh my God this absolutely the hight of tragedy, sadness and lose of a very good soul. Paul was always a very nice person on the forum posting and dealing with people. It seemed like he stepped away from posting very much the past two years, but started up again lately. He also had a list going in BT of very nice unique stuff that he was trying to pass on to members here.

He just reached out to me May 22nd for a WTB I posted for some Golden Dragon Kt 88s, I really didn't expect anyone to have them, but he found me and had just what I needed (he made my night). Then on top of bringing me the good news that he could get my amps correct for me, he only wanted a few dollars. I ended up saying no way and sent him more as that's what they were worth. But that shows you how he likes to help people out and take care of them. Friday he was very apologetic because he couldn't get them shipped before the weekend and had to go out of town but would do so asap this week.

He was doing me a favor to put these VAC Vintage High Power Mk II amps back together like they left the factory. He has a VAC 80/80 amp and was giving me a couple of the old factory tubes to complete my set of 8.

Now I know it's a long shot but now all I can think of is I hope he shipped those tubes. Not that I give a **** about the money or really anything to do with audio in this thinking. I know in my heart he would want these amps singing and with his help. I know every time they get turned on and that tube lights up it will be the light of Paul's heart and soul to bring the music to warm other hearts and passions.

Rest In Peace Brother

We all will pray for your Mom and Dad

Whoa....that's terrible!!!

Paul helped me numerous times with answers and suggestions for amp builds both on the forum and in personal email. Truly a loss for ALL.

My most heartfelt condolences to family and friends, and prayers for his parents.

I have been in contact with Keg's BIL and asked to be kept in the loop about his parents condition and any arrangements for Keg which I will pass on to Dave and Ernie as I am updated.
Thanks Andy,
Condolences to you and all you guy's "Michiganians" who are all very close.

Please send our well wishes to the family for their Mom and Dad, and Condolences for the great loss of Paul.

Very sad news . RIP Kegger. Prayers lifted up for his family and friends and for a complete and quick recovery for his parents.

What a senseless tragedy. I had hoped that he would be able to help me with my tube amp project, but it never came to pass. Very sad to hear that it happened like this. Prayers for his family, and everyone whose life he touched with his immense knowledge and goodwill. RIP MODman. :(
