Entirely possible. There is a guy on Boston CL who has NLA listed for like $20 but when you open the ad he's asking $250 for the Advents and $20 for some other garbage speakers. One way to get views I suppose.

Agreed, plus he has pictures specifically showing "Made in GT Britain", that and he mentions the tubes that are popular such as 12AX7's

Seller sounds motivated. Show up with cash, offer for the whole lot, load up your car. I bought a half-dozen console amps and assorted preamp/tuners for $50 one time--that's what he asked, that's what I paid. Could've been $50 each, but it wasn't. Grimier than this stuff, but you never know.

Here in Tightwadville USA I don't believe this one for a second. Email harvesting, scam, or the least desirable piece for the c note is my guess.

Got a call yesterday, I asked if everything pictured was for the price of $100, he told me he had several postings and couldn't remember exactly what was pictured but if I came over to look I would leave with a good deal for $100, no specifics but definitely not all pictured for the listed price, I am planning on going and taking a look, I will report back!
