The SC-5110 got no rack handles!
I know this is a VERY old thread but thought I'd update some info. I own an Se-7 and an SC-1110. The SC-1110 came with handles, and they fit the SE-7. Note that the unit height of both (faceplates only, excluding any legs) is 149mm (150mm) and NOT 159mm as listed above. Hope someone finds this helpful.

I realize this is an old thread, but I have a chance to get some handles for my AU-717, and I need to know the exact size so that I don’t buy the wrong ones. In the various posts above where it mentions 168 mm as the height, is that measurement the height of the entire handle (from top to bottom, as it were, when mounted on the amp), or is that a measurement between the mounting hole centers? Can someone please clarify that for me?

Mine measure real close to 140mm total height and 100mm bolt CtoC.

Interesting. The lists above put the 717s at 168mm “height.”
AI Overview
The Sansui AU-717 amplifier handles measure 4 inches center-to-center on the mounting holes and are 5.5 inches tall overall. These are original rack handles designed for the AU-717 and other Sansui models like the TU-717, 719, 517, 519, 417, 919, SC-2110, and 3110.

I’m wondering now where the various measurements are made. Is the height measured on the plate that has the mounting holes in it? Or is it measured at the base of the handles where it flares out to a wider point. Does anyone know? Is it A or B in the attached photo?

You left off the most critical dimension center to center on the holes.
Well, you’re probably right, and that could be added. I assumed that the dimensions mentioned above were in reference to the physical dimensions of the handle rather than the distance between the holes. I have a handleless 717 set that’s packed away at the moment making a measurement a bit of a pain. Hence my question.

For a TU 717, its 6-1/4 and 5-7/16 near as I can measure with the access I have. I can't get a cean measure of the CL to CL on the holes.
