Re-attach Magnet to Allison CD8?

So I scored a pair of Allison Acoustics CD8's from my local Goodwill for $25. I knew by the initial inspection that they'd need a fair amount of TLC.

The top woofers needed to be refoamed and they were caked in a layer of dust a quarter inch thick. But the tweeters and mid rangers looked to be in decent shape. I hooked them up just to see if they'd fire, and even in their fairly pitiful state I immediately fell in love with what I heard. I refoamed and cleaned the woofers up--but of course when I cracked one of the cabinets open I found the magnet of one of the mid-range speakers buried within the polyfill.

I browsed around the web but found mixed comments on what I could do. Would I be able to re-affix this myself? I'm not super experienced in speaker repair by any means, but from what I've found the tweeters and mid-range speakers are pretty uncommon and expensive. I'd like to see if I can tackle this myself. Any help would be much appreciated!

Pictures of the back of the midrange might be helpful. I don't
see any marks on the magnet that might help to position it.
Typically the pole piece shifts, but you don't appear to have
that issue.

That is going to be a VERY difficult fix to do on your own!!! If it is not done with precision you will have the voice coil rubbing on the magnet at best. My advice is to take it to an expert and have him do the reset. It may cost a few bucks but much less than replacing a hard to find driver.
