Realistic cassette deck info needed

Have a small Realistic auto reverse playback deck, SCP-5, model #14-169. Low output on line out jacks, lock in solenoid (magnet) is weak, end of tape reverse dead. Looks like low voltage? Looking for a schematic for this deck, searched around and didn't find anything. Anyone have a diagram for this one?

I notice there is no Radio Shack/Realistic forum here so if there is a better place for this thread feel free to move it. I use this old deck a lot, just a handy, somewhat portable, good sounding deck. Really need to get this back up to par. Thanks!

Did check out hifiengine, nothing there for this deck. Stereomanuals to the rescue. Again. Seems like that outfit has everything, good price, excellent production. About 25 pages and a fold out schematic on the little playback deck.

You're probably right. It was a working unit, and they seem to be hard to find in good shape. Nice little deck, no rotating head, simple mechanism. And it's kind of satisfying to fix something now and then.

Have a Sansui rg-900 EQ with a real handy remote, lost the right channel. Traced it down to an FET on the output, hard to find that part but got it working. Thing is full of ICs and tiny smd components, just a standard transistor was the culprit.

Finally got the little cassette deck up and running. Naturally it was the last thing to check, a 1000uf cap in the power supply. Cap. was actually open. Deck has two 12v DC power circuits, one for the motor, other for everything else. The other is more filtered and was reading 8.7 volts, jumped it with a 12 volt battery and it came right up to par. Case closed, I hope.........
