Realistic Mach One driver removal...

Hi all,

I am currently trying to change the surrounds on my realistic Mach Ones and I can't figure how to get the drivers out. Do I have to open the cabinet or can they be removed from the front? It seemed at first like they might be able to come out of the front however after taking all of the screws out its still not budging. If anyone owns these and has done a similar procedure I would appreciate the help!

Remove from the front.
As long as you are sure all the screws are out ( you have the plastic trim ring off, correct?), should be able to lay them on their back, reach fingers through where the foam used to be, grab some frame and give a quick but controlled jerk up, shouldnt be all that stuck to that vinyl stuff, unless someone had them out before and then glued them back in hard.

My Mach Ones were a bear. It was like they used contact cement to hold them in. I VERY slowly moved around with the widest and flattest screwdriver I had and maneuvered a very little at a time (big time opportunity to distort the basket here) .... they were a pain to get out
