Receiver (fisher?) ID

Not sure where to put this. Hoping someone can ID this receiver that’s built into a console.

That’s what i thought too. Been looking through google images of older fisher receivers but i can’t ID it

Try asking in the tube forum. Its gotta be a tube receiver.

Not sure thats a Fisher. The knobs and face don't look right. Cabinet makes me think it could be one of those Guild desk / stereo things. Could be a re-faced Fisher though.

Gadget has it right. That is a Guild New Englander console. You can just make out the "New Englander" on the front. The embellishment around the face-plate & dial glass is also a give-away.

I had the amp from one of these. If the one you are looking at has the same amp it is a push-pull EL84/6BQ5 amp with a 3-channel output.

The part you are looking at in your pic is the tuner/pre-amp
