Recommendation for Luxman Restoration

Just purchased a Luxman R-1070. I knew it would need work ... but when it arrived I was horrified to find out the receiver had been packed in a single sheet of bubble wrap and a handful of peanuts.

Needless to say the 1070 rosewood exterior was torn off the unit ... corners crunched ... and peanuts strewn throughout the unit. I won't go into the meriad problems with buttons and lights now present.

Anyway ... I'm looking for recommendations for a talented Luxman restorer ... anywhere in the United States. Thanks in advance.

If you got it on eBay and paid with PayPal, send it back. Make the seller file the claim. It was obviously very poorly packed and that's not your fault. Whoever works on it will probably need a parts set to be able to attempt to fix some of the issues. In all reality, that's all it is now.

If you got it so cheap that you still want to keep it, post some photos so we can see how bad it is. The extent of the damage is going to determine if anyone wants to touch it or not.
