recommendations for source for integrated amplifier

I picked up a very clean Onkyo A-8048V (Sanyo 4044V amp modules) at a thrift store.
I found that it is stuck in protect mode.
I checked voltages at the amp pin connects to the board and find voltages way off on one of them.
I am betting that the amp module has internal damage, and that that is the reason that the speaker relay is not activating.

I see these modules being sold on Ebay, but I have also read that these modules are routinely counterfeited.

Can anyone recommend a reseller of these things with a track record of honest representation of their products?

Yeah, you are probably right about the module being at fault however it would be nice to get confirmation.
Maybe post the voltage measurements that point to a module fault, maybe compare between L&R channels.
I've read in some posts that such modules are more robust than what people expect and the seemingly faulty
voltages are caused by other factors.

Certainly no to ebay unless someone chimes in with a reliable seller.
 
I'd buy two from a USA eBay seller who now has several at a reasonable price right now. Why hesitate? I don't get it?
