Recommended cartridges for Yamaha GT-2000

Microline stylus on boron cantilever? Should sound nice. The bonus being that it looks purdy. The best looking AT33 yet.

With the 33ptg/ii being one of the most recent similar offerings at 6.9 grams and 0.3mV, there's an obvious shift toward dynamics. Really looking forward to some reviews.

Additionally I thought my original 33ml was a major upgrade over the 33ptg/ii and absolutely hope this beats the original.

Coming soon from Audio Technica:

10.1 grams and 0.42mV output voltage. This could work well with the YSA-1 arm and a variety of MC phono amps. I might eventually consider this for my Centennial setup.
When you said "coming soon", I interpreted that as you had bought a 33xMLB and were waiting for it to arrive. I now realise that you might have been just informing us of a new model in their range.

Just informing on new developments. Definitely on my radar.

Mine as well. My AT33EV is one of the few carts I have sold that I wish I hadn't.

Problem is I have an Ortofon Windfeld on the GT now and it's superb. We always need backups though ;-)
