+1! I've been a user of this software package for so long that I honestly couldn't tell how many years I've had it. I love it! Initially setting it up can be a chore if you have a large collection but after that, it becomes religion - buy an album, put it in the database. They also have a mobile app for the iPhone that allows you to sync with your desktop. Very handy when you're at a record shop or show and you can't remember if you already have the album you're about to buy. Also a great way to show off your collection on the go!
Yeah, the whole reason I got it was not only to save time and hassle building a db from scratch, but also to stop me from buying dups.
Once I got started with it though other uses came up.
1) I have over 850 CDs and having a printed list helps me find what I got when putting together compilations. Also helps in tracking and maintaining my wish list. (Yes, you better believe I picked up a barcode scanner to enter all those! It still took me 1.5 months).
2) The way you can tell it what info you want on said reports is also handy for indentifying what are imports or enhanced or bonus or etc. (provided you entered that info in the first place.
3) A hard copy catalog system like in a library. (Print reports-put in CD cabinet = instant locating system)
4) I'm using it with MOG now to help set up playlists and also to discover new music by referencing the list. Of course, unfortunately this also results in additions to my wish list.

5) I hate smartphones and will never have one, so I print reports and take them with me when record hunting. Yeah, cumbersome carrying the equivalent of a notebook with me all over the place, but it's better than paying $80 per month minimum for a device that takes a Phd to use and one I can't see anyway.
I like how it access many dbs as well when looking up an album or what have you. Plus it can scan a CD and put in most of the info for you.
I still haven'e explored everything with it and I've been using it for almost a year.
