I've got a couple of their Zappa Pressings. Very Good!
Doug, a dealer I know has mentioned numerous times the kids he sells to want to hear the "pops and clicks". Not me though.
The only goofy thing is the guy saying fans of vinyl want some popping and cracking. That, of course, is nonsense.

Thanks for the video, though.

"Fans of Vinyl want some pops & crackle?"

True that ... had some younger co-workers who liked it. Never grew up w/ it.

Actually after posting what I did, I remember getting into discussions over the years about pops and crackles kind of substituting for hall or studio noise while recording. You know like when people cough at a concert or whatever and that the sterile sound of CDs, when they first appeared, seemed strange.

I do believe there are limits, however. :D

Interestingly I don't hear any pops or crackles with mint vinyl through my speakers. Record it digitally as a WAV file and play back with some decent headphones.... There's plenty of it there.

Thanks for posting this video, very cool! Funny how I had never heard of Pallas even though I spent most of my life in Germany. I only own one Pallas pressing currently (Dire Straits' self-titled album), and it's by far the most sublime-sounding record I own.

^^^^Tom Petty's lastest "Hypnotic Eye" is a Pallas pressing
If a Pallas pressing is sold as a US pressing it will be marked P.USA in the deadwaxx
