I just got a pair of Advent 2Ws at a flea market and am about to attempt my very first refoaming job. When I took the speakers out, I realized that one of the previous owners had made a mess of them. The back of the mounting bracket has Silicone caulk around it. The other substance on the back feels like silly putty and is missing on portions of the second speaker. I'm sorry to ask a very basic question, but I was wondering what I should be using for the back of the mounting bracket when I reinstall the speakers?
