REGA Planar 3 Replacement Tonearm

I have an old Rega Planar 3 with a tonearm that is beyond repair. I am looking for a budget replacement arm (oxymoron, I know). Any ideas?
I have a Pro-Ject Debut III I received for next to nothing. Is it possible to transplant that tonearm onto the Rega? How different is their geometry?

How so? There are many people who repairs the arms to a high standard.
