Removing Speaker Grills from AR-3 Speakers

I would recommend using this simple plastic tool from Harbor Freight to remove the grills. I used a small 3 inch plastic putty knife on the first speaker grill. Not good. So pondering my problem I checked at Harbor Freight and found this Paint Trimmer tool. $1.50. I went along the side edges first, gently of course, pushing into the slot to
break the seal. Then the top and bottom, the top right was the most difficult. Then pushed into the top and push out, it bent a bit, but came out, wham. No damage to the grill or speaker. It took about 7 minutes to complete. If I can do this anyone can do this!
