Any recommendations for a reputable shop in the greater Los Angeles/Orange Co area? I just picked up a kenwood 5033 and it is in need of a little love.

Greetings. I am new to AK. I love music and I particularly love vintage receivers. I have recently acquired a 2245 Marantz and I am currently looking for a local "repair guy" or a local "repair shop". Prefer someone who is fair and reasonable. My Stereo powers up but there is no sound either through speakers or through headphone. I would appreciate any input.

It would be best to start a new thread in the Marantz forum further down the main page. You're unlikely to get many responses in this thread, which started as a question about a turntable.

BTW, AK member catrafter is a Marantz repair/restoration genius. He restored my 2245, and it's now the daily driver in my office and gets used an average of 9 hours per day, 5 days per week.
