Repair shops in the Houston area?

Are there any repair shops in Houston that you'd recommend? I need to find somewhere to recap a Sansui receiver, and repair a Kenwood with a weak left channel.

Your help is appreciated,
Jordan

Hey Jordan,
Ever been out to Traders Village? There's a store out there called "Sounds good to me". They sell vintage gear, and, while I don't have any first hand knowledge of the guy who does their repair, here's a web page with some contact info. I do my own small repairs because I doubt I could afford to take any of my old mid-fi stuff to a real tech. It' seen fun learning, and one of the reasons I've hung out at AK for three years.

Edit: Also, if you need a local source for electronic components, I can tell you a couple places that have a pretty good stock.

theres a place on antoine called Save on Sound, the guy does good work. I don't have the number handy but hes in the book.

Thanks, I've found the listing. I'll give him a call this weekend and hopefully he can get these old beasts back up to spec.
