Replacement 2285B pots

I’m replacing the main amp adjustment pots and thought I would share how I did it. I took a page form a picture I saw where the tech made a nice etched board to mount a new trimpot on it. In my case, I used some perf board which is not as pretty but worked pretty well. I also found that the parts list didnt match the schematic. The PL calls for 1K abnd 2K trimpots but the board had 2K and 300 ohm pots. When I went to the schematic is when I saw some notations for a B version that says 300ohm :/. So back online to order the right pots ( and a few other items) from Mouser this time since Digikey was out of stock on any 300 ohm trim ports single turn. Just goes to show you Always want to measure what you pull off and cross it to what you “think” it should be. If I just blindly replaced the pots, it would have been wasted time troubleshooting a problem that didnt have to be there.

Well, that looks just fine to me. And maybe I need to do the same - I have trouble finding the right pinout and format (footprint?) for trimpots and so I didn't even replace them a couple of times. But I would if I could make the new ones work.
