Replacing a power switch on a Yamaha Ca-2010

Hi all, I'm new around here but am looking for some direction, I found a Yamaha Ca-2010 on the curb and with some basic juking was able to get it working.
That said, now it turns on and plays but won't turn off. I ordered a new power switch and these capacitors thanks to a users suggestion, but I'm afraid when they arrive I won't know what to do. Anyone ever replace a power switch on a yamaha ca-2010? Is it soldered in place or does it click in? I can only find one repair manual and it isn't great - there's a parts list online for a 1010 but not the 2010.

As I understand, you will be replacing the snap switch (red), you will need to remove the 2 long(ish) screws (yellow).
Try in situ, not much space. Otherwise, refer to the service manual it give disassembly instructions. Remove the woodwork.
The front face does pivot forward, need to loosen 2 screws and remove one at each end/on side.

EDIT: You would need to disconnect the connecting rods for the switches, might quickly
become a can of worms so try in-situ...
 
Shouldn't even need to unsolder the power meter leads. I wouldn't need to anyway..
 
You will need either a 1.5mm or 2mm allen driver to remove some of the front panel knobs.The rest of the knobs just pull off.
 
Hi all - after getting the Yamaha ca2010 up and running I’m still experiencing some minor sound issues that I want to fix - mostly the right channel going dead or being quieter. I took it apart again and noticed some of the capacitors had burned out - I’ve attached a picture but can’t figure out if this could be causing the right channel input on the phone input.

Those aren't burnt out, that's glue.

However, as you can see, the glue has corroded some nearby components. Those will need to be replaced and could explain your issue.

... but yes, you'll need to get the glue issue sorted out. Pull those caps, carefully scratch the glue away so there's no trace left of it anywhere and while you're there closely inspect all surrounding components because that glue is evil. It becomes acidic and conductive in its old age causing havoc on anything it touches or its near! Clean, clean, clean to make sure it's all gone then replace any component it has affected and there's a good chance you'll have that lovely Amp in full working order without needing to do anything else. Believe me, Avionic helped me do my first glue repair via this forum and the amp has been flawless ever since!

Do you know the part number for the replacement switch?
