Hi there - I am using Safari on an iPhone and have been getting this pop up every so often for the last week. It is a full screen with no option to close. And obviously I don’t click on it as it is likely malicious.

Thanks Chris, the screenshot helped a lot. That page is a fake Apple warning, and you were right not to touch it. An ad sent your browser there. We've switched off the ad partner we think is behind it. If it happens again, please post the time and the web address shown in the bar, and we'll keep chasing it.

Thanks Chris, and sorry it came back. So the partner we switched off wasn't the only source.

This morning we paused a second ad partner while we track down the rest. We'll post here when it's sorted.

If one still gets through, the time it happened is the most useful thing you can post, plus the web address at the top of the fake page if you can see it.
