I will say though, if I'm drinking Bud from a can, the music is usually southern rock. Freebird!!!

Oh man does that bring back memories!!

Sitting in a bar in Okinawa just outside Kadena Air Base. BUnch of couches for everyone to sit on. Live Japanese band. Bunch of drunk ass Marines shouting "Free Bird" Damn band would play that tune 20 times a night.

We all drank Bud back then.

interesting.. the one medium we listen to that you need to keep the most of your senses to handle, is the one we drink the best stuff when using... :scratch2:

Some of us don't need the alcohol... we have too much on our hands with the Sex Drugs & Rock n' Roll.

I've never liked beer, so vodka concoctions are my poison when I put on a CD.
When I use the TT, it's decaf coffee for steady hands!

canned beer and fm here .i'm lazy enough as it is(as most people know)so getting up and changing a cd or record requires energy that i'd rather spend in chat typing also i dont collect tuners just to look at them on a shelf.:D

Don't drink, no more drugs either, I can play vinyl anytime I want, didn't use to be that way,the shakes the next morning and SME tonearm :nono: sometimes gettin the CD in the tray was too much. I said enough of this s**t, nothing in 7 1/2 months now. At the time I thought I was doing good, then I realized I really wasn't, I'll tip a non-alcoholic concoction of different stuff depending on the time of day and kind of day i've had. What's this poll really about?? i'm suprised as well how many non drinkers there are.

Craig, and I'm a alcoholic!

cable and or satellite music channels is your friend here. but changing the channels can get quite streinuous. it is possible tho that it is less so than getting up to change the fm station. vs using the remote. :D

I'm a strictly vinyl guy, and I drink bottled beer or a mixed drink or scotch single malt. Mostly beer, though, so I voted canned beer.
I don't care much for wine, does that mean I'm considered unsophisticated? :tears:

BTW, the SL-1610Mk2 in my livivingroom is a fine thing for parties, the ratio for automation used / alcohol consumed is pretty steady ;)

I've been changing records for over 40 years. No matter how blizted.:puke::drunk::smoke:

I could do it with my eyes closed.

Threading a R2R is another story.

After a few Patrone's and Rolling Rocks, and a bunch of Marlboro's, Hitting the CDP remote is about it. My biggest issue at that point is to be sure levels are okay, Not to blow up anything. I'm talking fri/sat nights only here, Of course.

The box I would of checked was missing ----------------ALL OF THE ABOVE !!:thmbsp: James
