Tips on viewing images in AK
First off, be sure your
browser zoom is set to 100%. Some websites have articles with small fonts, and you can zoom in by pressing and holding the
Ctrl key and running mouse wheel
forward to zoom in (100 to 110%) and running the mouse wheel
backward to zoom out (100 to 90%) in Win7.
For a quick
zoom reset, do a
Ctrl +
0 (zero key), or to zoom in and out with hotkeys:
Ctrl + [
-] (minus) and
Ctrl + [
=] (equal).
Viewing raw uploaded file
It seems the `paragraph frame´ as I call it, is
490 pix wide from clipping them out and measuring. Larger images apparently get shrunk to that width, and clicking them will pop-out the full-size view. See viewing
tip appears when mousing over.
The image above is blurred because it's shrunk into a `paragraph frame´ but the AK
tip is sharp.
Viewing image from context menu
A manual way to
check any uploaded image for actual size and sharpness,
right-mouse click it and a context menu will appear, then click
View Image.
The background image below is blurred because it's shrunk into a `paragraph frame´, which is NOT the official term for that feature.
Likewise
save the image from there. The PNG below is sharp as a razor.

With some extra digging it seems that things are under control now.
