Has anybody bought something on this site where the listing is 6 months old ? Some of the stuff is 2 years.
Are they already sold ?

I've had mixed experiences; I bought an item recently from a listing that was a few months old, and the seller backed out of the deal. My suspicion is that he'd sold it on CL or elsewhere. Reverb wasn't helpful and wouldn't let me leave feedback for the seller. After a lot of bitching though they did give me a $50 Reverb credit, so I guess I got something out of it.............

If the item is sold, you get refunded, so you might want to try it if you really want the item.

No, that is just lame,and just laziness. If an item is sold it should say so. So nobody purges the zombie listings.

Got a guitar on this site. Been on for I think bout a month.

"Reverb" seems to have a good rep overall, with a lot of the pros dropping in.

Time will tell.

I just purchased an EMT 948 from Spain with no problems at all.

I bought a Arcam FMJ19 on Reverb. Pretty easy transaction. The seller was a cool guy. No issues.

I peruse Reverb once in a while. I am not a musician and most of their listings are for instruments & accessories. I did purchase some test equipment from a listing that was several months old. I sent the seller a msg asking if it was still available and then sent an offer. Really nice fella. I find most of the prices much higher than ebay and not necessarily in better condition.

I’ve seen stuff a year old and even 2 years old still listed. I’ve bought some items showing over a year old with no issues.

I've bought and sold a lot of guitars, pedals and parts on Reverb, but haven't bought any audio gear. in the event of zombie listings, Reverb is pretty responsive to customers- I bought a few things where the seller just dropped out and went on radio silence- Reverb was pretty prompt in issuing a refund.

I've bought a half dozen or so items on Reverb over 2 or 3 years.
No complaints whatsoever!
Last buy was some JBL horn adapters that I paid about HALF of
what they were going for on eBay. A great buy!

OK, I just thought seeing listings that are two years old would have surely been sold. I was totally wrong.

Bought an Onkyo A-7070 IA a few month ago condition was as described, well packed and pretty inexpensive. I would consider using them again!
