One virtue of the Revox Linatrack TT is that it's ergos may make the best phono player option for a vision impaired user, who can safely clean a record on it with a discwasher and then perfectly play it. The stylus is effectively brushed automatically before and after play, exceptionally user-friendly.

And for those who seek quixotic adventures - it is theoretically possible to modify a Linatrack arm to raise its mass - you replace the Delrin plastic arm, with a brass one - same design - may require some adjustment to the servo drive to ensure it can drive the additional mass smoothly...

Empire at one stage released a modified Revox with a higher mass linatrack arm - to match the then current empire/vandenhull MC cartridges (I have one from that era: the Empire MC1).

Definitely possible - it has been done! - but it is also somewhat akin to tilting at windmills!
