Ironically I found 2 of his records just 2 weeks ago. One is with Muddy and one is Bobby's hits. Very worn and scrungy but still sound good.

RIP. He left a lot of music to remember him by.

[KevinCorr]

I have not heard about him in a long time. I have a bunch of LPs of his from his early carreer. Some may know the story how he traveled with BB King. RIP

Playing my 45 of "Turn On Your Lovelight" b/w "I Pity The Fool" in his honour.

[Gang-Twanger]

Oh man, I hadn't heard this. One of the last true legends of the blues. What a loss.

[crouse]

Saw him twice. In the late 70s he was on a bill with B. B. King, Albert King and Little Milton. He had incredible energy. Saw him again about 12 years ago at the state fair and he was still pretty good even though he spent the whole show sitting in a chair. RIP.

[HammondB]

R.I.P. to one of the greatest Blues Singers of all times.

This one is my favorite, I love the sound of his voice with the organ;
