RIP Lou Reed

Sad, a true pioneer in music...and my age, too. In his honor I may have to suffer through Metal Machine Music.:tears:

...Nah, I'll play some Laurie Anderson instead.

You will be missed Lou! A true "Original", he wrote most of the great Velvet Underground music.

"One chord is fine, two chords are pushing it. Three chords and you're into jazz."

Wow, that's sad news.
RIP Lou.
I don't believe I'd be the fella I am right now if I'd never heard Loaded.
He was a true artist: His music changed people...
Thanks bro.

Dang - lost yet another great one :tears:

Lou and the VU had a huge influence on my musical tastes growing up and I always appreciated his honest and gritty point of view. RIP.

Never was a huge fan, but I got the relavence and the importance of what and who he was and what he created as his art, and his legacy. RIP.
