RO13E Zener Diode

I have a Sansui AU-7700 that the service manual shows with a RO13E zener diode. Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement?

I am guessing any 13 volt zener, probably a half watt if it's for supplying power.

Can you please check if it is RD13E ? in which case it might be a NEC zenerdiode,

13V
Forward Current IF=200 mA
Power Dissipation P=500 mW

An additional suffix (B, B1, B2, B3) would indicate a certain voltage spread.

These or these would do.

Classic Sansui fu@k you up misprint. It's an RD13E suffix B zener diode which is a 13V 1/2W zener with a min/max Vz of 12.18V-13.62V

The BZX79-B (2% tolerance) is a good choice.

You're surprised?

The AU-7900 has 5 less wpc than the AU-9900. It has a two-function loudness control that I love.

I A-B'd them with a Russound switch using the same source and speakers and they sound identical....once you kick in the loudness for low-level listening there is no comparison.

I believe what you say on the 7900/9900, but wasn't referring to that.
