Tony Levin and Gavin Harrison..that's a great rhythm section for sure. Gavin is a great jazz fusion drummer....
 
they will probably include a US tour but everyone should get in touch anyway to let them know interest is strong
 
3 drummers in this band. Should be very interesting. As much as I like Belew, it probably would be too much of the same with him included sadly enough.

and maybe some touring ...?
 
Awesome! I really liked "Repercussions" so maybe they can take this edition somewhere Crim hasn't been before. Thanks for the headsup Herr Cactus.
 
That's fun. As long as there aren't two bands calling themselves King Crimson going around at the same time, this is a good move.
I like the idea that this is one band that just won't go away.
 
The words with which to express my happiness and excitement about this have yet to be invented. I had no idea till I read this. Made my day.

There are no plans, he says, for the new King Crimson to enter a studio. They will play "reconfigured" versions of existing Crimson material.

If they recorded an album first the tour would be pushed back even further. I had tickets for the "Red" show in '74 and they broke up before I was able to see them on that tour. I refunded my ticket for $6. Sure wish I kept it.

This is really exciting. I'm still in shock.
