The Leroi Brothers. The only thing I've heard is their EP "Forget About the Danger - Think of the Fun", and it is an epic!

Based on the ones you've been listening to, check out the Reverend Horton Heat. One of the best live bands of all time. Pretty funny at times as well.

The Stray Cats are playing a single show on April 10, locally here in Minneapolis, since Brian Setzer lives here. Its long sold out, but in a small club I would bet it would be a lot fun.

KEXP in Seattle has a rockabilly show "Shake the Shack" -- you can stream the last show in an uncompressed format if you have the bandwidth: http://kexp.org/programming/progpag...-1&96=39843.75-1&20=39843.75-1&256=39843.75-2 The uncompressed stream is very high quality, wish more radio stations would start doing this rather than the crappy MP3 streams that sound like craptastic crap.

A band from the late 70's early 80's "Major Matchbox"
They had a couple of hits including "Midnight Dynamos" and "Rockabilly Rebel".
Very big on energy!!

Couldn't pass this up without giving some love to the rocking mamas!

Wanda Jackson, The Queen Of Rockabilly

Danny Gatton

Played locally in the Washington, DC area.....until his suicide at age 44
Rolling Stone magazine called him.....the worlds greatest unknown guitarist.

Wanda Jackson, The Queen Of Rockabilly

Wanda's rockabilly albums are pretty cool. I enjoy her later country & gospel phases, too.

Another female rockabilly artist of note is Janis Martin, known as The Female Elvis.

Flat Duo Jets
X
Screaming Blue Messiahs
Reverend Horton Heat

I saw Rev Horton Heat open for Frank Black (1994 when he first went solo)... pretty good set. I later saw the Rev on an episode of Homicide - Life On The Street... basically, he was playing himself... it was a great episode of Homicide, which used to be my favorite show.

Though he busts through a few genres, "The Last Of The Full Grown Men", Webb Wilder is worth anyone's time in this area of musical taste.

I agree. I always forget about Webb.

I saw the Right Reverend a few over the years. He puts on quite a show!
I can highly recommend, "Full Custom Gospel Sounds".
