RSL made a whole bunch of speakers and seemed to have a reasonable reputation for quality. Those look like they might have been their JBL imitation. Hard to tell whether they are worth it without hearing them, but I would guess that they are not a tremendous steal, though perhaps not a bad deal.

I think that is a good price.

I have had a couple pair of RSL speakers. I still have the Elans, and gave a pair of the 10" woofer monitors to a friend. He uses them with the Marantz 4300 I fixed up for him, and he loves them.

You can find better conditioned, cheaper deals out there of recognizable brands for that kind of money. Patience, patience.....

Rogersoundlabs not only made speakers, but was an audio retailer as well. Many of my Pacific friends ended up at RSL.

These particular ones aren't something I would buy, though they did make a number of notable products.
