Are you guys clueless? Rolk Olsen was Australia's most famous stereophile in the late 1950's. His love of stereo led him to design several models of loaded horn speakers that actually utilized the natural horn qualities of the giant conch snails that lived in the reefs of the Wallabanarno province (where his studio was). Of course, there were never enough conchs to make these small, yet gorgeous, speakers available at stores. He only sold about 4000 pair through mail order, but they were popular enough that even the prime minister made reference to "Rolk Rolk the speaker bloke." The speakers pictured above are possibly the best value in the world today...and a fantastic tribute to the long-gone genius of Rolk!
