Sa 5200 low power output

I have a couple sa 5200s, each with its own issues. The first one sounds good, audio is balanced, no crackle or hum, BUT audio output volume is about a third that of my other sa 5200. I thought amp circuit transistors, but both channels failing in exactly the same way?? How about power supply? How much voltage should I get and where should I test it? Other thoughts?
