SA-7100 Ripple Current measurements-effects on protection board?

The relay takes about 2-3 secs to click. I had already replaced all the caps on the protect board, all that was left was one of the transistors that I didn't have a replacement for at the time. Hmm... I guess I should also probably check and see if having stuf connected to unit (e.g tuner's audio and power are connected to amp) makes a difference.
