SA-9100 Extremely output

Hello,

I am an amateur electronics technician. I'm having a problem with my loved SA-9100. I recently had transistor Q4 of Power Supply Circuit B puke it's guts up. I was pouring a glass of Dr Pepper as the needle dropped and I'm suprised it didn't end up all over the floor. So I replaced this along with replacing all of the common problem areas associated with the protection mode issues mentioned by pustelniakr. Now I have extremely low power output from Power amps on both channels. If I crank the volume I'm getting barely anything. I tested power supply voltages and they appear pretty normal. I do see an issue with both pin 9's on L & R power amps. I'm reading -4mv and ping 13 is showing like -20mv. Did I blow Q10 transistor? Thanks for any help in advance.

Does it come out of protection? Pins 9 and 13 are monitored by the protection circuit, your voltages seem OK or at least they shouldn't be causing a problem. The input selector(s) are kind of unusual, are they set correctly for the input you are using? Check the pre/power amp switch in the back.

You nailed it craig. I had the separation switch turned on. I had a Mcintosh c32 in front of it. Now that I'm looking that may be what fried it??? Am I able to use an external preamp in front of the amp section?
 
No I think I had it right. Had the the separation switch set to subsonic on. Then main outputs from C32 to power in on the SA-9100. Should be fine right?
