SACD recommendations

Agreed. As I mentioned in an earlier comment, listening to music on a sacd disc is purely for a different sound experience. Some music really suits the multichannel beautifully, others not so much. Pink Floyd as an example is a fun experience in multichannel.

I think I have only one SACD.
Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon, 2003
SACD, Hybrid, Multichannel, Stereo, Album, Reissue, Remastered, 30th Anniversary Edition
Fun stuff on headphones. I took the photo.

I'm sure it's great fun on phones, but have you played it on a 5.1 system?

I have the same SACD, and this one blows me away. Those massive bass notes at the beginning of Time will leave you a giggling idiot (well, mine leaves me that way) and either glad you have at least one subwoofer or wishing you had one!!

Nope not on a 5.1 system.

I was listening to this on KBAQ-FM Phoenix and the sound quality was marvelous, so I think the SACD is a good bet! They were probably playing the CD.

I found this to be the highest quality recording of “The Planets” …..give it a whirl!
