Actually you should be at Slim's seeing Nightwish the night before like me. :thmbsp:

You should also not miss Therion at Slim's with Aesma Daeva opening. Words cannot describe that experience yet to come.

I think the third will work. I can work in the B day with a visit to my parents place, and glom some food. :banana: It IS my day anywho. :yes:

I'm about an hour Southwest of Sacto in Discovery Bay. I could make it either day the weekend of November 3rd & 4th.

Those dates look good to me, Let me know what to bring. My speaker upgrades should be done by then. I could bring them if theres room. Looking forward to meeting some other guys in this neck of the woods.
 
Hold Everything!

The present head count isn't enough for getting the large room at my clubhouse. So as of now I'm not going forward with reserving the room. Maybe we can do a smaller get together at my house but it would probably have to be either the weekend after Thanksgiving or the following weekend. That's November 24th, December 1st, or even December 8th. I'm in San Diego the weekend of Nov. 17th so that won't work for me.

I think we should continue this discussion but hold off until we have a larger commitment from members. For a large get together we should look at the first couple of weeks in March. Or move it to the SF Bay Area. Thoughts?
 
For what it's worth, we are talking about doing another SoCal get together in January or Feburary. It would be better if we didn't do them back to back.

It may be against the rules, but if the idea were to be posted, say, in the vintage forum, there may be a greater response.
The only way I knew about the post was through a PM. I never would have seen it.
